1. Mr Ontonio Guterres is the Secretary -General of the United Nations (UN) which was founded in 1945 to maintain peace and security in the world.

2. The emblem of the UN symbolizes peace. It shows the world held between two olive branches.

3. According to the UN charter, member states shouldn’t use force against other member states. Bilateral disputes and international discords should be settled and solved by peaceful means such as diplomacy and negociations.
